Or with family’s help, with his permission.

  3. Pricing later

    Waitlist families hear it first.

Questions

Does my parent need to learn a new app?

No. Your parent says what they need in their own words, out loud, and Olexa handles the apps they already have. With a small speaker by the bed or on the counter, they never need to unlock a phone.

Can I set it up for them from another city?

That is the plan. Adult children will be able to add usual stores, contacts and reminders remotely, and your parent decides what you can see.

Will it buy things or pay bills without asking?

No. Olexa reads back every order, payment and message and waits for a yes. Over time, a family can choose to let it handle specific routines automatically.

What can I see about my parent’s day?

Only what your parent chooses to share, such as whether a reminder was answered or a delivery arrived. Each person controls their own information.

How does it pay for things?

Through the accounts your parent already has. Every payment is read back with the amount and who it’s going to, and it only goes through after your parent confirms.

Could a scammer use Olexa to get my parent’s money?

Olexa is designed so that it never acts on calls, texts or emails from other people, and payments only start from your parent’s own voice. When a request looks unusual, it checks with the family first.

What if it mishears?

Olexa repeats back what it understood before it does anything, so your parent can correct a misheard word before confirming. Your parent can say “say that again” or “slower” any time.

What does it cost, and what device is needed?

Pricing isn’t set yet, and waitlist families will hear it first. Olexa is being built for a compact voice speaker and for the phone your parent already has.

Where does my parent’s information live?

Olexa is being built to keep it encrypted, never sell it or use it for ads, and forget everything when your parent says so. We’ll publish a full privacy policy before launch.

Is Olexa a medical device?

No. Olexa helps with reminders and check-ins and keeps the family informed. It does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice.
